CANTER’S DELI:
TREASURE ISLAND
In 2003, Canter's Deli
expanded across
state lines with a
Canter's Deli opening
at Treasure Island
Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. This
marked our first expansion from our
current location at 419 N. Fairfax.
This 130-seat venue is located adjacent
to Treasure Island's Race and Sports Book.
The menu includes a large selection of
Canter’s signature items including
sandwiches served on rye, barley bean
soup, New York cheesecake and world-
famous chocolate chip racetrack cake.
CANTERS TRUCK
“Canter’s Truck” hit the streets of Los Angeles in March 2010 and is the brainchild of Bonnie Bloomgarden – great granddaughter of founder Ben Canter. Canter’s Truck serves a smaller sampling of Canter Fairfax’s menu and can be seen in neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles feeding customers curbside, with such specialties as corned beef, pastrami and reuben sandwiches. Canter’s Truck can also be booked for special occasions and events. Go to www.canterstruck.com for details.
CANTER’S DELI:
DODGER STADIUM
The Dodger Stadium location marked our
second expansion from our current location
at 419 N. Fairfax Avenue. On deck at Dodger
Stadium were our famous corned beef and
pastrami sandwiches, hot dogs, pickles and
other delicacies from our Delicatessen. The
Canter's Deli stand was located on the
stadium's field level behind the third base
line. We were open for 3 seasons from
2008 - 2010 during the 3 legendary years when
Joe Torre was manager.
CANTER’S DELI:
NASCAR
In February 2009
Canter’s Deli was off
to the races at
NASCAR with a stand opening at their Auto
Club Speedway in Fontana, California. The
Canter’s Deli stand is open twice a year
during races and for special events in the
speedway’s FanZone. Auto Club Speedway
even held a “National Hot Pastrami Day” on
Jan. 14, 2010 to rev up ticket sales, and for
those who bought tickets for the Auto Club
500 (Feb. 21, 2010) got coupons to redeem
for a hot pastrami sandwich from the
Canter’s Deli stand.
